Who is a Reporter and what does he/she do?

A reporter, similar to a journalist, primarily works in the broadcast stations & media industry. The prime responsibilities of reporter includes imparting news to the media, hosting debates & interviews with industry experts, journalists, citizen journalists, news makers, etc. A reporter is required to possess strong subjective qualities, analytical and reasoning skills, adhere to deadlines as and then major news stories develop from time to time.

The scope of this career is available globally as far as there are media companies. Jobs at national broadcasting stations are more competitive and demanding, especially in larger metropolitan cities. They have to keep themselves updated about all international, local and national events and update the same to the general public.

Qualifications Required

A master's or a doctorate in subjects such as business management, communications, journalism, and related programs
