Who is a Sound Engineering Technicians and what does he/she do?

Sound Engineering is a part of audio engineering which deals with acoustics, recording and reproduction of sound waves through electromagnetic means. This field overlaps with many disciples including electronics, electrical, mechanical, acoustics, & music. An audio engineer must possess creativity skills for effective sound production.

With the advancement of science & technology, sound engineers must be more familiar with software technology and the associated hardware technology integration for better sound effects. He should also synchronize various sound effects from analog to digital for proper mixing of sound waves. Sound engineers find their credits in commercial music composing, including the one in movie productions, multimedia, sound broadcasting, and studios, etc. He works closely with the sound director and music producers and directors.

Qualifications Required

M.S., M.S.E., or M.Eng. Or a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in electrical & electronics engineering or even an accredited BSc degree in electrical & electronics engineering ith specialization in waves & sound
