Property Managers operate in the real estate industry, deal with real estate issues, dealings such as home purchasing, selling and home improvement, landscaping, villa maintenance etc. they are also referred to as Real Property Administrators (RPA).
Property managers provide variety of services such as gardening, security monitoring, home operational, home supplies for home owners for a nominal fee. They form middle men or the brokers between the owners and the tenant and hence they share prime responsibility between two parties, both the landlord and the tenants.
They are desirable to be professional to provide all housing laws and to adhere to all property management practices and measures. There are several certified courses for property management such as certified residential manager, certified community association manager which helps them to understand the local laws better.
A master's or a Ph. D. degree in subjects such as Property and Real Estate Management is recommended.
