Who is a Glaziers and what does he/she do?

Glaziers deal with design, maintenance, and construction of artificial environments especially with glasses. It is one of the oldest engineering disciplines. The demand for glaziers is found at all real estate levels including public sector to government and private sector.
Glaziers work both on commercial and residential job sites and they require minimum of four years for apprenticeship. They are responsible for all types of glass works ranging from cutting, installing glasses and mirrors, bathroom accessories, interior decorations, showcases, etc. Apart from glass, they also work with granites, marbles and plastics for interior decoration and designing for home and commercial purposes.

Qualifications Required

M.S., M.S.E., or M.Eng. or a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in Civil Engineering or even an accredited BSc degree in Engineering
