Botanist

Who is a Botanist and what does he/she do?

A Botanist basically deals with the study of plant sciences. It covers wide range of subjects like plants, algae, microbes, fungi, for which a botanist about its behavioral aspects like structure, reproduction, growth, diseases, metabolism, etc. A botanist is one who engages in activity to acquire acumen by personal experience and experimenting with living species like plants and microbes. It is a scientific and systematic study of a particular subject matter and he has to present the findings to the general public.

Botanists perform more sophisticated research and conclusive trials to understand the underlying facts of living creatures. They link the natural and phenomenal processes to more practical purposes. Botanists also conduct research with a goal to achieve practical benefit to be used for future applications and hence find immense scope for the development of mankind.
