Who is a Sales Managers and what does he/she do?

Sales managers form the pillar for organizational objectives. He evaluates and accesses organizational sales goals in a sophisticated and efficient manner through recruitment, training and strategically guiding the organizational resources. Sales managers establish certain objectives for their team to achieve all the timely targets set by the company.

A Sales Manager also acts as an analyst while interacting with customers worldwide. Sales managers work with a team of analysts to analyse and device methods so as to improve the organization's work processes and company performance. They analyze and focus on marketing strategies to understand the company cost structure, operational expenses, recruitment and staffing etc. Thereby company's cost structure can be better understood by sales managers. They are also responsible for preparing strategies for successful competition in the industry.

Qualifications Required

A master’s or a Ph. D. degree in subjects such as marketing and sales management is regarded as must.
