A financial manager defines and dictates the monetary aspects of an individual or an organization. They define measures for well defined paths for effective utilizations of one’s finance.
They are responsible for allocating budgets meant for specific purposes for meeting an objective or goal. The job also involves risk and diversity money management, reporting of financial statements, responsible for profit and loss statements etc. they add value to the company through sophisticated financial goals.
A master’s or a Ph.D. degree in subjects such as finance, accounting, taxation etc. is recommended. Some firms prefer degrees such as CMA, CCA, CGA or CA too.
