Who is a Director and what does he/she do?

A Director is a professional who involves in dramatic production like movies, television series, or even a radio channel. They basically catch and direct a dramatic character.

Career in acting and producing movies began during the period of ancient Greece, where such professionals were not regarded as people of high repute, in contrast to today's world where professionals like producers and directors are high profile people.
A Director is responsible for directing and coordinating various departments involved in film production like audio, video, camera, script writing, and lyrics and must be able to message the theme of the movie successfully to the audience.

Qualifications Required

Though it is a complex art, a formal training in theatrical skills would suffice for the job, depending upon the performance while testing the skills. Drama school training is mandatory for high level producers.
