Promotions Manager, also referred to as event manager, evaluates the performance of all departments across the organizations. They set long and short term goals for all employees, advice and counsel them in their respective fields in terms of promotions and advertising management.
They also work on cross promotion deals such as client interaction for miscellaneous projects, client negotiations, and other promotional campaigns desired by the company. They are required to have good communication and interpersonal skills, apart from client interaction skills.
A master's or a Ph. D. degree in subjects such as advertising, marketing and promotions management is advised.
